Welcome to the world of APE Social Wear, where fashion meets positivity and social support. I am Alessandro Ferrari, a graphic designer, educator and father. Ape is the clothing brand that was born from my dream: to convey positive and inclusive messages in life everyday through what we wear.
Our story
The story of APE was born from an act of transformation. One day, during the summer oratory, an entertainer showed up at the oratory with a t-shirt with a swear word written on it.
Something was buzzing around in my head, also because this T-shirt was not really in line with the values that I tried to transmit every day with my example in the demanding and joyful days of the oratory: respect, inclusion and positivity.
Instead of letting him wear that T-shirt, almost without thinking, I decided to make him wear a white one, on which I wrote in marker the phrase "GOOD BECOMES GOOD".
I remember that from that moment, an awareness was born in me that my actions and words can positively influence others.
This simple episode triggered a chain of events that led to the creation of APE Social Wear, a clothing brand whose heart beats to the rhythm of messages of positivity, inclusion and support. Every piece of clothing we make is a means to convey a message of goodness to others and to spread a wave of hope and solidarity in the world, as it was when I created, in a somewhat artisanal way, my first APE T-shirt
Our Values
At APE Social Wear, we firmly believe in the importance of spreading positive messages and offering support to the vulnerable in our society. Our core values are positivity, inclusion, respect for the environment and solidarity.
Our Production Philosophy
We are committed to producing T-shirts, clothing and gadgets that express good not only through printed messages, but also through an ethical and sustainable production process. We use environmentally friendly fabrics and work in collaboration with social cooperatives that employ people with disabilities.
Our Social Contribution
We are proud to support solidarity projects through our actions. In addition to providing jobs to vulnerable people, we donate a percentage of our sales to charitable causes. Every purchase from you contributes to generating a positive impact in our community.
Our Shop
In the midst of the pandemic, we opened our first APE STORE, where, on some days, young people with disabilities work as clerks. This store represents not only a place of sale, but also a space for inclusion and social support.
