In support of Ukrainian refugees: Ape Social Wear in collaboration with Siamo Mission

In a time of crisis and difficulty that has affected the entire world, Ape Social Wear has not been able to remain indifferent. In fact, at this time it is important raise funds to be sent to places worn out by war and in support of Ukrainian refugees, here is the idea of a t-shirt. Like all our products, the t-shirt is made of social cooperatives by disabled children , the graphic represents the construction of a house where peace is the foundation.

“We are Mission” alongside and in support of the Moldavian Church: the words of Don Mario De Stefano.

A beautiful one has been published Article by MissionMoldova.org which reports the words of Don Mario De Stefano, an active part of Siamo Mission Onlus, where he tells how the project in support of Moldova was born and how it has developed over the years. But above all how it is operating in this dramatic historical moment.
It was the summer of 2012 when Siamo Mission began to collaborate by accompanying the first young people from Trieste to Varvareuca, a small town in Moldova, to entertain 120 children for two weeks and how, ten years later, they have become one of the main supporters in welcoming, becoming a constant presence alongside the Moldovan church with the Regina Pacis Foundation.
But today Moldova, the poorest country in Europe, is in humanitarian emergency and, despite the less than idyllic conditions in which it finds itself, it has given hosting 35,000 Ukrainian refugees .
The organizations that are committed to helping in this current emergency situation are mainly two: Caritas Moldava with Fides, Casa della Provvidenza and the parishes and, the second, the Regina Pacis Foundation with the Renewal in the Holy Spirit, the Salesians, the Sisters of Mother Teresa of Calcutta and us at We are Mission Onlus (Trieste) for relations with Italy. Another reality is the NGO Optima fide, within the Greek-Catholic community.
The Regina Pacis Foundation for the reception uses its own facilities and others found for a number of approximately 250 and 300 refugees per day, but in continuous rotation, Don Mario de Stefano informs us, and the canteen provides approximately 500 meals per day.
Energy and resources, both mental and economic, are continuously being provided but it is difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel and to be able to say with certainty when this situation will end.
Don Mario de Stefano suggests that we roll up our sleeves, each as we can, and open our hearts, thanking anyone who is giving support and a concrete contribution, even a small one, to make the world a more supportive place.
But we thank Don Mario De Stefano and all the volunteers for the precious work they are doing, constantly inspiring us with works of kindness. Here is the video message sent to us by Don Mario:
